The Start of a New Build

This bike build is pushing boundaries for me—it’s further than I’ve ever gone with an NX650. The engine is out, and the frame is off for some re-adjustments, setting the stage for the next steps. There’s still a lot to figure out, but that’s part of the excitement.

I have a rough vision of what this bike will become, but I’m letting the details develop along the way. The goal is to take it in a direction I haven’t seen before. With so many builds out there, I can’t promise it’s breaking entirely new ground, but that’s not the point. This is about creating something that feels right for me.

It’ll sit alongside the NX675 Rally, but with a different purpose. I don’t need another Rally build—this bike is heading down a new path, one I’m ready to explore.
